Last Chance U: Basketball follows the high stakes and challenges faced by the East LA Community College basketball team, the ELAC Huskies. It is an intimate and gritty portrayal of a sport that has become a venue for opportunity, but also heartbreak and devastation for the youth who so passionately have revolved their lives around it. Both seasons were nominated for Sports Emmy Awards in the “Outstanding Documentary Series - Serialized” category.
